Floating

This attracted me instantly. Perhaps because I have a collection of skulls in my room, not real of course, but pretty nice ones, of various sizes and shades. I don't know where my attraction came from, but I have always been fascinated with skulls.
This work is extremely beautiful to me. The concept is plain but attractive with its simplicity.
The artist did a remarkable job.
The shading grasps my heart and won't let go. It's extremely well done done, very realistic. I just had to look at my largest skull...just to see how similar it looks.
I would like to express a special fascination with the teeth. The way the artists presented them in this work makes me wonder what kind of person they belonged to. Uneven, various shaped, with gaps...a combination of these qualities brings a whole new impression of this work.
